AM Workshops: The 3D Printing Conferences at NPE and IMTS 2024
We are presenting half-day conferences on additive manufacturing at both of the two largest manufacturing events in North America this year. Join us!
At NPE2024 – The Plastics Show, and at this year’s International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS 2024), Additive Manufacturing Media is proud to present 3D printing workshops organized for these events.
If you are attending either show, please join us for these intensive sessions on additive manufacturing:
3D Printing at NPE
The 3D Printing Workshop @ NPE2024 – The Plastics Show, May 8, is an immersive half-day workshop focused on part production via additive manufacturing and its promise to complement and augment the capabilities of longer-established plastics processes. Topics include bridge production, 3D printed tooling, material advances, metal replacement and more. Learn more and register.
Two AM Workshops at IMTS
The AM Workshop on Powder Bed Fusion @ IMTS, September 11, is for machine shops and other established metal part producers that are considering adding powder bed fusion, arguably the most proven metal AM part production process, to their list of capabilities. The half-day workshop will cover the role of powder bed fusion; operational, workflow and safety considerations; and differences between laser powder bed fusion and electron beam melting.
The 3D Printing for Job Shops Workshop @ IMTS, September 12, explores the various ways that small to midsize machine shops can support and expand upon their machining capabilities using both low-cost and higher-end industrial 3D printers. Topics of the half-day workshop include 3D printing for tooling, shop aids and inspection resources, as well as the possibilities for 3D printing as a part-production alternative to enable more efficient use of machine tools.
