The Voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Centre – Mississauga has achieved ISO9001:2015 certification for the design, simulation and production of additive manufactured components for power generation, oil and gas, and other advanced industries.

“With this certification, customers are assured that their work is being handled in a thoughtful and repeatable manner consistent with desired outcomes. It also provides a sound basis for driving efficient and effective business processes,” says Sami Arsan, VP of Additive and Advanced Manufacturing North America.

The Mississauga, Canada, location is part of the regional and global network of Voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Centers (VAMCs) that offer customers “concept to component” services. The VAMCs offer a complete additive manufacturing (AM) value-chain from powder development, engineering, simulation and modeling, and the latest AM production technologies including postprocessing services such as machining, thermal processing and coatings. The combination of disciplines is said to provide a risk-mitigated, performance and cost optimized AM solution.
