The Cool Parts Show Fifth Anniversary Livestream: Watch the Recording
We discuss what the show reveals about the state of AM adoption so far. We share updates about cool parts we have covered. Join us in celebrating 5 years of the show about 3D printing for end-use part production.
The Cool Parts Show, our video series about end-use components made through additive manufacturing, was launched in late 2019. To celebrate the show’s fifth anniversary, co-host Stephanie Hendrixson and I recently streamed a live retrospective episode. Watch the recording above.
It’s a long stream! We covered a lot. In this episode, we look at the aggregate of “cool parts” we have covered to learn what they reveal about the applications in which AM is being adopted and how it is succeeding.
We also give updates on 16 of the cool parts we have covered over the years, including the lifesaving role of the 3D printed top frame in an IndyCar crash, the further advance of AM for UAV engines and the inventors of the Rekkie ski goggles appearing on Shark Tank.
Maybe best of all, we got to interact with viewers from around the world who were watching the livestream in real time.
If you are new to the show, welcome! Here is more about The Cool Parts Show and here is where you can find the complete catalog of additively manufactured parts the show has covered so far.
