Thermwood LSAM MT Provides Increased Number of Parts in Required Cooling Time
RAPID 2020: Thermwood’s LSAM Moving Table (LSAM MT) offers a new configuration and significant advantages in certain applications and features a single fixed gantry mounted over a moving table.
Thermwood LSAM print heads can print two three or more parts in the cooling time required for each layer.
Thermwood’s LSAM Moving Table (LSAM MT) offers a new configuration and significant advantages in certain applications and features a single fixed gantry mounted over a moving table.
The LSAM MT comes in two table sizes, 10 ft. × 5 ft., and 10 ft. × 10 ft. As with the larger systems, the MT can process high temperature polymers ideal for autoclave capable tooling or compression molds for thermoset materials.
LSAM print heads can print two three or more parts in the cooling time required for each layer. With the LSAM MT, several different segments of the same part can be printed in a single shift, making it possible to print as much in one shift as the large machine, printing a single part, can do in 24 hours.
