The company also offers 16 composite materials exclusively for its Connex 3D printers that are made by combining the rigid black material with a rubber-like material. These Objet Digital Materials enable the simulation of a variety of rigid/rubber-like properties, including a higher-toughness material that simulates polypropylene and a range of flexible materials with Shore A values from 27 to 95.The materials combine rigid and flexible properties within a single prototype of consistent black coloring such as those required in seals and packaging for consumer goods, consumer electronics and automotive parts.
