Farsoon Americas has created a distribution partnership with Novastar Solutions, which is based in Livonia, Michigan. The partnership will enable Novastar to distribute Farsoon’s open, industrial-grade metal and plastic additive manufacturing (AM) machines to customers in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
Farsoon says the partnership reflects its commitment to supporting the growth of the extended markets and applications with advanced AM technologies. Novastar is one of the largest volume resellers of 3D printing hardware supporting the broad design and manufacturing community in metro Detroit.
Novstar has decades of expertise in supporting industrial customers with R&D, engineering, design, prototype and AM. The Novastar distribution of Farsoon’s laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) 3D printing solutions is a natural progression for the company to enhance its series production capabilities servicing local industries such as automotive, molds and tooling, and industrial manufacturing.
“We’re extremely honored to be working with a well-respected and professional partner in Novastar. As a 3D printing machine OEM, it is vital to have partners who are both technically knowledgeable as well as connected with the local manufacturing and business circles,” says Don Xu, Farsoon America managing director. “We look forward to growing Novastar’s portfolio with Farsoon’s latest laser powder-bed technologies to serve the Midwest region better.”
As a solutions provider for over 25 years, Novastar is pleased to add Farsoon 3D Printers to our line of industrial offerings. “The broad portfolio of machines and materials will allow us to support our customers in new ways and we are excited about the opportunities to represent the technology in metro Detroit and beyond,” says Ben Baumgarten, Novastar vice president.
