SLM Forms Partnerships to Advance Metal AM Capabilities
Collaborations with partners including Authentise, Rosswag GmbH and Cronimet Holding GmbH will focus on process automation and materials solutions.
SLM Solutions Group AG has formed several strategic partnerships to expand its capabilities as a solution provider and provide customers with a comprehensive service portfolio in metal-based additive manufacturing technology. Partners include Authentise, Rosswag GmbH and Cronimet Holding GmbH.
Authentise provides software solutions for additive manufacturing in production environments, including its 3Diax modular platform and manufacturing execution system, which automates order processing and tracking with data and integrates it into existing workflows and IT systems. With this collaboration, SLM Solutions customers will be able to use real time production data to automate process flows.
Roasswag and Cronimet specialize in metals including superalloys and ferro-alloys. The collaboration focuses on the development, production and distribution of special and high-performance alloys for additive manufacturing, especially steel alloys for use in high-temperature environments. SLM Solutions will handle sales of the developed alloys.
