BOFA Americas, Wurth Additive Group Collaborate on System Integration
The collaboration between the two companies enables the integration of BOFA filtration systems with AM systems supplied by Würth.
BOFA Americas is partnering with Würth Additive Group to create value for both companies’ expanding additive manufacturing (AM) operations in North American locations across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
BOFA is a provider of fume and dust filtration systems with a growing product portfolio developed specifically to meet the needs of AM technology. Würth Additive Group is a partner, distributor and reseller of AM equipment and consumables as well as maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) parts. It also offers AM engineering services and training. Wurth’s industrial 3D printing and digital inventory products and services are said to streamline its customers’ supply chain, reduce lead times and increase adaptability.
The collaboration between the two companies is designed to create a compelling technology partnership for AM businesses, enabling the integration of BOFA filtration systems with AM systems supplied by Würth. As a result, BOFA systems will not only contribute to effective workplace atmosphere management but will also filter emissions to help maintain optimal chamber conditions for consistent 3D print quality.
“We are excited about the partnership with Würth Additive Group as they are a full solution provider who strives to quickly provide the most appropriate solution for each customer opportunity,” says Katrina Clemens, BOFA Americas general manager.
Wurth says the collaboration will help support its customers’ strategy to promote safety and a more pleasant working environment around a variety of equipment. “Our partnership will make it easier for customers to find everything they need in one place,” says AJ Strandquist, CEO Würth Additive Group. “Now the air you breathe isn't an afterthought; it's a part of the discussion from the start.”
