Farsoon Technologies is partnering with Additive Plus, a provider of 3D printing hardware and technical solutions. This collaboration enables Additive Plus to distribute Farsoon’s open, industrial-grade metal and polymer additive manufacturing (AM) machines to the U.S. West Coast market.
Additive Plus says it is committed to delivering 3D printing solutions targeting series production, which spans various industries, including automotive, dental, health care, education and more. Its enhanced technical background and dedication to shaping the future of technology aligns with Farsoon’s mission to advance and industrialize AM.
“Given that additive manufacturing and laboratory atomization technologies are our core offerings, we’ve learned from our clients that the ability to work with custom and traditional materials is a game changer,” says Harry B. Saltos, Additive Plus business development manager. “Access to an open system providing full laser control is the emerging trend in both industry and academia. Farsoon offers the freedom to work with any material and control all printing parameters, making it the key to next-generation manufacturing.”
Additive Plus, located in Torrance, California, provides U.S. customers with in-depth 3D-printing and AM expertise, delivering on-demand 3D printing services, as well as digitization, application engineering, technology and strategic consultancy, as well as training and education. Its product portfolio ranges from easy-to-install desktop printers, materials and consumables up to full-scale industrial AM turnkey solutions, based on the technologies fused filament fabrication (FFF), lubricant sublayer photo-curing (LSPc), ceramic selective laser sintering (SLS) and laser powder bed fusion (LPBF).
“I am excited to partner with Additive Plus to bring the latest Farsoon’s laser powder bed technology to the western U.S. market,” says Don Xu, managing director of Farsoon Americas. “With their strong know-how in a variety of manufacturing technologies, Additive Plus will be a valuable resource for customers and Farsoon.”
