“The maximum elongation or compression of a metal bellows is usually specified for 1k, 10k, 100k or 1mio cycles. So far we have successfully carried out vibration/fatigue tests with 1k and 10k. We have increased the maximum change in length by 50% compared to conventional metal bellows. For example, the test specimens with 9 bellows on a length of 60mm have successfully realized +/- 15mm for 1k cycles. And more tests will follow.”
