The new permanent filter module is said to increase machine uptime, stabilizes process gas flow and reduces consumable cost while eliminating the need for filter cartridge changes. The automated PSV sieve creates a closed-loop material handling process, where operator exposure to metal powder is minimized and material integrity is safeguarded by keeping the powder in a sealed, inert environment. An optional metal recoating brush is also available to further decrease maintenance procedures.
