The Cool Parts Show co-hosts Peter Zelinski and Stephanie Hendrixson celebrate five years of hosting the series dedicated to cool 3D printed parts.

In 2019, Additive Manufacturing Media (AM) launched The Cool Parts Show, a video series dedicated to end-use parts made through 3D printing. To celebrate the show’s fifth anniversary, AM will host a special livestream episode on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at 8 p.m. (EST).

The show’s co-hosts, Peter Zelinski and Stephanie Hendrixson, will share updates about parts featured on the show, answer audience questions and give away Cool Parts merchandise.

About The Cool Parts Show

The Cool Parts Show is produced by Additive Manufacturing Media, a Gardner Business Media (GBM) brand dedicated to covering the advancement of industrial 3D printing.

Each episode focuses on a 3D printed part to explore how it was made and what it reveals about the possibilities of additive manufacturing.

The show is hosted by AM editor-in-chief Peter Zelinski and executive editor Stephanie Hendrixson, and is filmed and edited by GBM video creation and production manager Austin Grogan.

“We wanted to raise a flag to every manufacturing organization thinking about additive manufacturing,” Zelinski says about the show’s beginnings. “The potential applications for AM cover a vast spectrum but the lessons of applying it and seeing it through to success are the same – or many of the lessons are the same — from industry to industry and from use case to use case. We wanted to be able to show everyone imagining they might be able to benefit from additive: Here are the successes!”

Parts featured on the show span materials, industries and 3D printing processes. Examples include:

“My favorite thing about the show is getting to highlight the people who have worked so hard to design and manufacture the Cool Part we’re showing,” Hendrixson says. “I’ll admit I have a particular soft spot for inventors and entrepreneurs — I love it when we can showcase a product from a startup company that might only exist because of how 3D printing brings manufacturing within reach.

The live episode of The Cool Parts Show starts at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, December 12, 2024 on the AM YouTube channel. It is free and open to the public. Bookmark the livestream.
