The 2018 edition of IMTS—The International Manufacturing Technology show will include more additive manufacturing technology and content than ever before. Organized by AMT—The Association For Manufacturing Technology, the trade show is hosted every two years at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Here’s where to find additive manufacturing at the show:
- The Additive Manufacturing Pavilion. Located on Level 3 of the West Building, the AM Pavilion features 56 exhibitors, up from 21 at the 2016 trade show. At its entrance is AMT’s Emerging Technology Center (ETC) focused on additive manufacturing, one of two ETCs.
- The show floor. Additive manufacturing technology will also be on display in other pavilions including the Metal Cutting Pavilion located in the South Building and the Controls & CAD-CAM Pavilion in the East Building. View a selection of AM products to be displayed throughout McCormick Place in the IMTS zone, or search the exhibitor list by product category.
- Events. The Additive Manufacturing Conference returns to IMTS for 2018, happening September 11-12. With a program curated by the editors of Additive Manufacturing Magazine, the conference focuses on industrial applications of 3D printing and AM technologies. Find the program and additional details at additiveconference.com (and use offer code AM20 for a discounted rate).
Other AM events include AppliedAM – Where Additive Minds Meet, presented by EOS North America on September 12, and technical sessions within the IMTS Conference.
