Xaar is launching its latest inkjet printhead for High Laydown (HL) 3D printing. With HL Technology, it is possible to jet fluids with high viscosities of at least 55 cP. The technology also enables 3D printing of parts with improved mechanical properties, such as tensile strength.

Combined with fast, scalable inkjet printing, the HL technology is said to delivery volume production and high-productivity 3D printing. The company’s printhead portfolio can be used in various 3D printing methods such as high speed sintering, binder jetting and photopolymer jetting.
